Today a sweet little toddler jumped up in my arms and just hugged me for a solid minute - a pretty darn long time for a toddler. It was a full blown, initiated by her, yielding embrace. I hadn’t seen her in about 6 months but I’ve always had a special connection with this little one. To say it melted me is really an understatement. This is why I do what I do. To feel such gratitude from such a pure little spirit is just more payment than any other form. I love these littles and their families I am honored to work with every day.
